Gladys Yvonne (Ruzanski) Booker, 82, passed away August 13, 2018. Survived by nieces and nephews, Debbie (Bruce) Watts, Carla (Steve) Gradisar, Sandy Beiazee, Sudzy (Bryan) Benesch, George Ruzanski, Scott Ruzanski and Wanda (Larry) Dietrich; sisters-in-law, Lou Ruzanski and Wildra Ruzanski; and numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Forrest Booker; parents, Emil and Thelma Ruzanski; brothers, George and Carl Ruzanski; and nephew, Kirk Ruzanski. Gladys was born in Aguilar, Colo. on November 16, 1935, and graduated from Huerfano County High School in 1953. She was a homemaker for sixty years and was an outstanding crafter in knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and calligraphy. Gladys was proud of her heritage and coal mining roots and being a Worthy Advisor for the Order of Rainbow Girls. She was an avid reader and history buff and enjoyed current events and politics. Gladys was generous to her family and will be sadly missed by all. Viewing, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Graveside service, 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, at Mountain View Cemetery, 1315 Acero Ave. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to the CF&I Museum, 215 Canal Street, Pueblo, CO 81004.
