Gladys Ann Tressler, 71, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2019. Survived by husband of 48 years, Michael Tressler; son, Matthew Tressler of Rio Rancho, N.M.; granddaughters, Gabriella Marie and Lola Grace; five sisters; and three brothers. Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Irene Hanson of Ellendale, Minn.; and brother, Leslie of Plano, Texas. Gladys was born in Owatonna, Minn. on December 5, 1947. She graduated from the University of Minnesota at Mankato in 1969 with a degree in accounting. She held several accounting/auditing positions in Minnesota and New Mexico in the private sector and in government. She was an accomplished quilter who had her work exhibited and was an avid reader. At her request, there will be no viewing. Memorial service,3 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. I was so sad to hear about Gladys. She was always such a sweet and loving aunt, and she, and especially her quick wit, will be greatly missed! I hope you all can take comfort in the fact that you are loved very much by many family and friends.
