Georgia W. (nee Reynolds) Whitmire, 91, passed away March 26, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado. Preceded in death by her husband, Milas W. Whitmire, Jr. on Jan. 18, 2000. Survived by her son, Jim (Margaret) Whitmire of Pueblo; grandchildren, Mary Ann Whitmire of Albuquerque, NM and Lynn Whitmire of Pueblo; and cousins, Billineil Neely of Texas, Wanda Hefley of Texas and Melvin Stanley of Calif. Georgia was born June 13, 1912, in Throckmorton, Texas to George and Beryl Reynolds. She was an elementary school teacher and most importantly, a devoted wife and mother. There will be no viewing and a private interment will be held at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont, Colo. The family extends a special thanks to University Park Care Center staff for the care they gave Georgia. Those who desire may make a memorial to a charity of choice through the funeral home. I will always remember GW so sweetly sharing all her memories of Haskell and Throckmorton, her dear Aunt Sally and cousin Watt Mathews, her high school days at the Poteet house with Naomi and Irma and her friend Joe Short that sat behind her in her English class. GW was a delightful lady in my nursing career. I share in your loss.
