George R. Lutz

George Lutz, 70, passed away June 3, 2001. Survived by his wife, Shirley Lutz of the family home; children, Roxie (James) Stephenson, Pueblo, Martin Lutz, Tyler, Texas and Kristina (Kevin) Gering, Idaho Falls, Idaho; sisters, Dorothyann (Fred) Ayer and Judy Troudt, both of Montrose; brothers, Jack Lutz, Montrose and Jerry (Wanda) Lutz, Trinidad; grandchildren, Anna Gering and Elizabeth Stephenson. Preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Evelyn (nee Adams) Lutz and brother, John Lutz. Born April 15, 1931, in Imperial, Nebraska and was a longtime Pueblo resident. Member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he served many years on the church board, helped in several building projects. He was an avid woodworker and master craftsman. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 84 Stanford Ave., with the Reverends Conley Henderson and E. W. Kehr officiating.
