George N. Connors, 81, passed away Oct. 27, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado. Survived by his wife, Norma L. Connors; children, Daniel P. (Bonnie) Connors of Grand Junction, Nancy Ann (Sam) James of Perth, Australia, Ken (Lynda) Connors and Kathleen (Will) Greer, both of Pueblo; step-children, Edward (HeJung) Williams of Aurora, Kathy Williams of Seattle and Curtis Williams of Boulder; siblings, Thomas (Helene) Connors of Lakewood and Margaret Stoddard of Pueblo; sister-in-law, Betty Ellgen of Pueblo; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Ann Connors in 1981; brother, Robert Connors; and brother-in-law, Harold Stoddard. George was born May 12, 1923, to Thomas and Loretta Connors in Santa Fe, N.M. He served in the Military Intelligence of the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea and later worked as an insurance investigator. George was an avid fisherman, a Broncos fan and enjoyed gardening. His engaging sense of humor and positive and unique outlook on life will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. He attended Ascension Episcopal Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a member of Pueblo Lodge No. 90 B.P.O.E. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Ascension Episcopal Church, 18th and Grand, with the Rev. Dr. Ephraim Radner and the Rev. Annette Brownlee officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to George Connors' Memorial Fund at Ascension Episcopal Church either direct or through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.
