Gene Caivano, 78, passed away July 18, 2012. Survived by his wife, Joan; and children, Julie, Joseph and Marty. Gene was born Feb. 9, 1934, in College Point, NY, to Rocco and Assunta Caivano. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Greyhound Lines. There will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.

He was certainly a very lucky man to have such a wonderful family, and I am so thrilled to have his amazing son Joe in my life now. With love, Wendy

  5. We didn’t know Gene very well, but he was always pleasant and cordial. We admired his faith in God and know he playing on the perfect golf course now. He will be missed and in our prayers.

  6. Mike & I both have special, yet different memories of Gene. Mine involve selling him cars & how easy he made the negotiations with his calm demeanor. Mike remembers many enjoyable hours on the course with him. We both remember what a good man he was.
