Gasper Joe Vigil, 82, passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2020. He was born Apr. 4, 1938, in La Veta, Colo. to Sam Vigil and Delce Chavez. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Vigil; brothers, Juan “Billy” Vigil and Edward Vigil; sister-in-law, Bea “Pat” Vigil; and companion, Delma Vigil. He is survived by sister-in-law, Barbara Vigil; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Gasper was an active member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish. He enjoyed socializing and playing pool with his friends at SRDA, trips to Cripple Creek, spending time with his family, the Broncos and Rockies. There will be a private family viewing and service. Always so kind and gentle when we saw him at Mt. Carmel Masses. He remembered my parents (Cosyleon family) from way back in the auto business. My condolences to the family.
