Gary R. Cruts, 73, departed this life peacefully at his home in Pueblo on Jan. 16, 2017. He was born to Raymond and Zella May (Clark) Cruts on Feb. 12, 1943, in Colorado Springs and graduated from Palmer High School. He married the love of his life Marge (Rolfes) from Sibley, Iowa. In 2007, he retired after working 46 years for Safeway. They enjoyed their life together spending time with family, friends and traveling. Gary is survived by his soul mate, Marge; daughter, Robin (Dan) Nassimbene; grandson, Geoffery of Colorado Springs; granddaughter, Maurie (Fernando) Lucero of Pueblo; and brother-in-law, Alan Knight of Colorado Springs. Preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Diamond; parents; and sister, Becky Knight. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Sunrise Church, 2655 Briargate Blvd, Colorado Springs.
