Gary Lee Brooks, 67, passed away Jan. 16, 2018. Survived by children, Ashley R. Brooks, Autumn K. Brooks, Amber J. Brooks and Gary Alex Brooks; nine grandchildren, Drew M. Brooks
Chloe H. Brooks, Dustin L. Campbell, Jordan J. Lessar , Sydney L. Lessar , Roman M. Dominguez, Aidan L. Brooks, Madison C. Fox and Aiyana F. Brooks; sister, Maribeth Brooks Hutchison; and mother, Anny Brooks. Preceded in death by his father, Mearl L. Brooks; and brother, James L. Brooks. Gary was born to Mearl and Anny Brooks on May 19, 1950, in Pueblo, served in the army in Germany and the reserves and worked at the Pueblo Army Depot. Gary enjoyed the mountains, rock climbing, nature, carving/making staffs, kayaking, fishing and people. Member of Park Hill Christian Church, American Legion, NRA and the VA. Dear Anny and Maribeth and whole family, just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Gary’s passing it’s been years since me and my sisters and family would come by and visit you guys over on the Westside below big hill.. I remember playing on that mountain and loving it.. from the St. Clair family, just wanted to offer our condolences and say how sorry we all are..love ya all..
