Cousin Gary, the world was a better place because you were in it. And now, heaven has gained a new angel as you are reunited with your beloved wife, Barbara. You were an amazing person, who always had a smile that was contagious and brought joy to others. I cherish all of my childhood memories of the times we spent together, most of which were when our family went to Colorado for summer vacations and family holidays. I especially cherish the time you stayed with us in Michigan when I was ten and you became the big brother I never had. My dad, your Uncle “Joe,” was especially fond of you and enjoyed having you around. Like him, you have always put family first. Thank you for all that you did, and most importantly, thank you for being you.

I will always remember and cherish the times we spent, too few and far between, together and the way your face lit up with love everytime. So much like my Grandpa Dace. I will strive to be what I miss the most about the people I’ve loved who are gone; and hope to shine with the same love that you both did, and the same grace as Aunt Barb. I hope you know how far it reaches and how good it feels down here in my darkness. Love you.
I will miss you Papa! You were an amazing person and made many people smile, laugh and enjoy life! You were my hero just like Nana was and now you both are in heaven spending eternity with each other! I’m so glad that you are now dancing on the streets of gold! I love you Papa and will see you in the future up in heaven. Until then Papa! Make sure to “Rub The Booda” for Kayla! Fly high Papa!
It was an honor to have known you. Thank you for always making me feel welcome and loved. ❤
