Words cannot express how sorry we are to hear of your loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you, as always. (I) will always remember Gary’s brilliant smile, his upbeat personality, and his ornery look sometimes when he was about to crack a joke or tease one of the kids at family gatherings. Kathy, you’ve lost a excellent husband and best friend – Evelyn, you lost a son that any mother would have been proud of. The rest of us of lost a good friend who will be missed by many. Several in the trucking business have contacted me to share their shock, sadness, and stories. We all want to help in anyway you might need it. God Bless you both.

  28. Dear Evelyn & Family,
I was very saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. Although I hadn’t seen Gary for years, I remember making quick friends during his summer visits with Ann & Wesley in MN during our younger days of the 1970’s. Wesley is a good teacher and you could see Gary was a quick learner when it came to “mechanicing” on things. He was into Peterbilt’s and motorcycles already then. I’m sure he enjoyed trucking. Please know we are thinking about all of you at this sad time.

  29. DEAR AHO FAMILY,
I AM SADDENED TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. GARY ALWAYS BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE EACH TIME I SAW HIM. ANGEL, IN DISGUISE, AT MY DOWN TIMES. WILL MISS HIM TERRIBLY! GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY AS THEY DEAL WITH THE PAIN OF YOUR LOSS.
