Gary A. Schrock, 69, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away Oct. 15, 2005. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Schrock; children, Sheldon Schrock, Greg (Jean) Schrock, Shanna (Kenny) Hernandez and Troy (Robyn) Schrock, all of Pueblo; siblings, Bonnie (Bob) Fike of California, Maurine Yeager of Kansas, Vinita Beuttgenbach of Kansas and Phil (Marilyn) Schrock of California; grandchildren, Deidre Schrock, Christopher Rushing, Amanda Rushing, Stephanie Schrock, Alan Schrock, Kimberly Bartholomew, Devon Bartholomew, Erin Schrock and Erick Schrock; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Sylvia Schrock; brothers, Clair, Maurice and Harold Schrock; and sister, Eldine Neill. Gary was born Nov. 12, 1935, in Selden, Kansas. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He attended schools in Rexford, Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1965. At the time of his death, Gary was an account for Rice Root Accounting. Member of Pueblo Kiwanis, past president of National Association of Accountants and served on the board of Crossroads Turning Point. Viewing, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the family present. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Temple Baptist Church, 3030 Thatcher Ave., with Chaplain Melinda Baber officiating. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team and entombment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
