Gail 'Cowboy' Schweers, 74, hung up his spurs on Nov. 27, 2014. Survived by his son, Dakota (Sarah) Schweers of Montana; three grandchildren; and siblings, Larry (Sondra) Schweers of Rye, Colo., Gary Schweers of Rye, Colo. and Margie Wyatt of Pueblo. Cowboy served in the US Navy and worked at Bruce Newby Ranch and Crossey Ranch. Celebration of his life, 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at 898 9th St., in Penrose, Colo.
