Frieda Lucille Cissna was born on Feb. 3, 1917, in Calhan, Colorado. She went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, Ralph E. Harper and Beulah G. (Stringham) Harper; her husband of 66 years, Oscar A. Cissna; granddaughter, Debbie Sue Dubbel and son-in-law, Larry R. Dubbel. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Dubbel; grandson, Fred (Sherry), great-grandson, Dominick (Wren Bosche), great-great grandson, Jackson Link and unborn great-great grandchild, great-grandchildren, Katrina and Derik; grandson, William (Brandi), great-grandsons, Dakotah and Colton Dubbel; grandson, Terry R. Dubbel and grandson, Donald (Selina) Dubbel. Frieda graduated from Central High School in 1935. She was very musical and at one time played most brass and woodwind instruments. She played piano at Northern Avenue Methodist and other churches. She was an exceptional cook and seamstress. She loved to make quilts for her family. We miss her smile and delightful sense of humor. We all have great memories that will keep her alive in our hearts. Funeral service, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend Kim James officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UPCC Activities Department through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.
