Funeral Mass:

Fred T. Tucker Sr. Our beloved “Pops” went to heaven to be with his wife, Frances on Monday, January 24, 2022.
A lifetime Puebloan, he was born January 20, 1922 and recently celebrated his 100th birthday.
Pops worked for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and then went on to work for the City of Pueblo in many capacities including Park Caretaker, Zookeeper, City Gardener, and Parks Maintenance. Pops passion was being outside watering his garden of fruit trees. His motto “water the piss out of it” proved worthwhile, the trees and garden continue to thrive.
Pops is survived by his son, Fred Tucker Jr. and daughters, Rose Ann Knight and Jane Guttner; grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was an amazing man with a loving heart and a green thumb. And although he will be missed, we will not be sad for as it is said in Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…”
