Guestbook

  1. Frank and I went through boot camp together, and later we were both assigned to the same area in Viet Nam. He was a great guy and a “tough” Marine – but most of all he was a good friend. I’m so sorry that he has passed, and because of agent orange it’s that much worse. RIP Frank

  2. I was going through obits and came across Frankie’s obit…wow, I’m so sorry to hear. I knew him from the Hangar partly and East High. I was so shocked, every time I go by the Hangar, I always wonder what happened to Frankie. He always made sure on our dart teams that no one bothered us girls. He was a good protector. He had to call the cops on a few guys that wouldn’t leave us alone. God bless you Frankie and God bless your family, may God keep them in peace. Miss you, Frankie.

  3. Frank, so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. You are in my thoughts often but especially now. May the memories of good times with him help to ease the loss.

  17. On behalf of the Capritta family I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to Cheryl and family. Frankie was a great friend of my family and a mentor to me as I worked for Frankie and Frances growing up. He treated me like a son and I will never forget his generosity. I still have a rifle he gave me as a gift when I worked at the Hangar. He is having a drink with my father and catching up on old times. They are again the “life” of the party….

  18. To all of Frank’s family,
What a great loss for so many people and especially his family! Frank never knew a stranger and always made everyone feel like his best friend. Always the life of the party. We really enjoyed the time we spent together at East’s 50th Reunion. Frank was so Blessed to have been surrounded and cared for by his loving family, and they were Blessed, as well, by his great love for them. Our deepest sympathies. Jeanne & Ross

  19. Our deepest condolences to Frankie’s family. May the Good Lord comfort you at this sad time. Frankie will always be remembered as a very special person and will be missed by so many. “Rest in peace, Cuz.”

  20. Cheryl and family,
We were sorry to hear of Frankie’s passing. He was one of the kindness and generous persons we have known. Cheryl you and him were so much alike in that way. We have such fond memories of us all setting around chatting. One of the fondest memories was or wedding with you and Frankie standing up there with us and the subtle humor that only you two could pull off. Every time we think about it or see the video it brings a smile and laugh. Thank you both for being such good friends. Are prayers are with you and the family. I know everyone will miss him and Cheryl I know you will miss him the most. Rick and Deb

  21. Cheryl, Christy, Frank, Crystal and the entire family,
Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. So many fond memories from the good ole Hangar days. I am honored and blessed that I have known all of you for over 25 years. Frankie fought a hard battle with dignity. May the care and love those around you provide comfort to get you through the days ahead.
Our most sincere condolences, Brad & Ronda Gasperetti

  22. Cheryl and family,
I had several encounters with Frankie through liquor board work, selling the family 2 cars and serving at the Hanger.
He was always a positive person to be around.
I lost my husband Mike to Agent Orange, making my heart heavy for the pain and suffering I know you all endured from it’s horrific and vast devastation of his body.
I pray your find peace and the many memories begin to fill the huge hole in your hearts.
    Sincerely, Jil

  23. Cheryl, Shirley and Sam,

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. When your family and mine bought houses next door to each other it was the beginning of so many wonderful memories, laughter, and friendships. Stories have been running through my head all day about the mega water fight with garden hoses, Halloween nights scaring the neighborhood kids, sitting in our backyards telling ghost stories or just talking. Our childhoods were rich and full of wonder in part because we had each other in good times and bad. Frankie was one of a kind and he will be sorely missed by everyone who was touched by knowing him.

  34. Cheryl, Christy, Frank and Crystal,
I am so sorry for your loss. You father was always so proud of you and always wanting to protect you. I remember when he moved in across the street he would drive up to the house and come over and chat with me. He would start about something random and then start asking about Christy or Frankie, he always wanted the “insider” information. So also, let me apologize for giving in to him often times. Especially on you Christy. 🙂

    May his memory be eternal!

  36. Cheryl, Shirley, Sammy and all Frankie’s Children and their extended families,
My heart goes out to all of you, and may God Bless you. I have known Frankie and the rest of his brothers and sisters since I was a kid. To this day I still tell stories about the Christmas cookies and candy that the girls would make every year and put out for their friends and family, to this day I have never seen anything like it. In later years I spent time at the Brass Horn and The Hanger. I was always treated like family, and Frankie’s humor was one of a kind. When he got back from Vietnam I remembering him coming over to the house to talk to my Dad who was also a Marine in WWII and Korea. There will never be another one like him, Semper Fi “cuz” and thank you for your service to our great country.

  85. So sad to hear of Frank’s passing. Fond memories of time spent at the Brass Horn & the Hangar. Also, great memories of him supporting his son through his years playing football at Centennial…to this day one of the very best players I had the privilege of coaching. My heart goes out to Frankie & the rest of the Spinuzzi family. RIP, my good friend.
