Francisco 'Frank' Muñoz, affectionately known as Keeks, 88, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away Apr.7, 2013, following a short illness. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Chris; daughters, Cathy (Harold) and Carrie; siblings, Pauline (Richard) Juarez, Angelina (Frank) Verna, Sally Muñoz Apodaca, Gloria Muñoz, and Tony (June) Muñoz; sisters-in-law, Carmen Ledford, Florence, Rose, Cecilia and Alice Sanchez, Lucy, Dora, Annie and Nancy Muñoz; brother-in-law, Mike Apodaca; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Luisa Muñoz; brothers, Salvador, Alfred (Juvie), John (Lil), Raymond, Tommy and Richard Muñoz; sister, Alice (Haze) DelaTorre; in-laws, Abenicio and Brigida Sanchez, Charles (Nellie), Ben, Pete, Alfonso and Alonzo Sanchez, Joe and Corrine Herrera and Jim Ledford. Frank attended Central High School and served his country as a SeaBee in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1989, after 34 years. He was a lifelong sports participant and fan, who enjoyed playing basketball, softball, and bowling with his brothers. Frank was a family man, always fixing something, working on a project or helping his family. He enjoyed having coffee and visiting several times a week with his friends, siblings, nieces and nephews. He will forever be missed by all who know him, especially his wife and daughters. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Rosary, 9 a.m. followed by the memorial Mass, Thursday, Apr. 11, St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3130 Morris Avenue, Pueblo, CO.
