Frances M. Moore, 90, passed away June 4, 2007. Survived by her daughter, Roberta Avalos of Pueblo; grandchildren, Ron (Lil) Avalos of Pueblo, Rhonda Avalos of Pueblo, Nancy Avalos of Pueblo, Patrick (Leslie) Moore of Pueblo, Devon (Bob) Bissell of Littleton, Carrie (Pete) Lignos of Colorado Springs and Michael (Judi) Craddock of El Granada, Calif.; several great and great-great grandchildren; and special friends, Marie Shern and Pat Pumphrey. Preceded in death by her husband, Winston Moore on Aug. 1, 1994; son, Winston J. Moore; sister, Valeska Lathrop; and step-grandson, Chris Craddock. Frances was born to Marian and Helen Riley on March 29, 1917, in Goff, Kansas. She retired from Sears as an office manager in 1979, after 28 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed her church circle, crocheting, sewing, knitting and the Sears retirement luncheons. Member of First Presbyterian Church since 1947 and past president of Professional Business Women. Special thanks to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, special friend and longtime, gentle caregiver, Linda Schroeder and nurse Judy at Dr. Calderon's office who was always available to answer questions. There will be no viewing. Graveside service, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Mountain View Cemetery (Please use the west Acero Ave. entrance) with the Reverend Dr. Brad Munroe officiating. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers.
