Frances 'Faye' Marie (Zaletel) Petros

Frances Marie (Zaletel) Petros, 92, of Pueblo, Colo. passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Faye was a lifelong Puebloan and was married for over 65 years to Raymond L. Petros, Sr. (deceased). Survived by daughters, Kathleen (Harry) Boling, Parker, Colo. and Mary Ann (Jerry) Wilson, Colorado Springs, Colo; son, Raymond (Catherine) Petros, Jr., Golden, Colo.; grandchildren, Liz (Bob) Olmstead, Pueblo, Colo., Cindy (Kurt) Berg, Loveland, Colo., and Brett Boling, Louisville, Ky; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Dorothy (Carl) Zele, Englewood, Colo.; sister-in-law, Annabelle Petros, Pueblo, Colo.; and many nephews, nieces and their children. Faye is preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Mary (Mezan) Zaletel, immigrants from Slovenia; sisters, Mary Bryant and Rose Jersin; and brothers, John (Jay), Frank, and Joseph Zaletel. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Thomas Gaide and Rachel Perricone for the years of devoted care of Faye and to the wonderful people of Wynwood of Pueblo and Frontier Hospice for their extraordinary kindness and compassion. Visitation, 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Goodnight Ave. Entombment, Roselawn Cemetery.
