I live in Kansas City and just saw the notice about Floyd’s passing. We met in ROTC in the fall of 1965. I remember seeing in the newspaper when he lost his brother in Vietnam in 1969. Looking for the grave of another ROTC member who was killed there in April 1968 out at Roselawn, I came upon Carl’s grave along with about 16 other young men from Pueblo who had died there. Montgomery and Steward is where I got my start in the funeral business in 1983.
I worked with Floyd at Dana Corporation from 1984-90. He was a nice fellow and a hard worker. RIP buddy.
