Fae Sumpter

Fae (Campbell) Sumpter, 81, passed away March 15, 2010. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, William 'Bill' Sumpter; her children, Carl (Sue) Sumpter of Fort Collins, Linda (John) Smith of Grand Junction, Dr. Matthew (Diane) of Pueblo and Eric (Kathy) Sumpter of Longmont. She is also survived by four grandsons, Thomas (Nichole) Falkowski of Longmont, Eric Sumpter of Fort Collins and Brian and Michael Sumpter of Pueblo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dixie Campbell; her sister, Mae (Carl) Ransome; and brothers, Rex (Rose) Campbell, Richard (Luba) Campbell and Wayne (Edna) Campbell. Fae was born to William and Dixie Campbell in Pueblo, where she lived her entire life. She was a graduate of Centennial High School, and a retired bookkeeper for Grove Drug Store. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. Her family was most important to her. She loved her husband, her children and grandchildren very much. Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Montgomery Steward Funeral Chapel.
