Everett H. Sparks

Everett H. Sparks, 87, passed away August 5, 2003, in Pueblo, Colorado. Survived by his children, Susan Kay (Rick) Roos of Aurora, Colo., Carey Lee (David) Murphy of Pueblo West, Dall E. (Tammy) Sparks of Pueblo and Gary D. (Beth) Sparks of Sausalito, California; brother, Melvin L. (Barbara) Sparks of Broomfield, Colorado; sister, Marjorie Cusano of Cerritos, California; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Florence Evelyn 'Mollie' Sparks, on March 20, 2003; daughter, Carol Joan LeBlanc; brother, Almore Sparks; and sister, Inez Keller. Everett was born September 29, 1915, in La Veta, Colorado and graduated from Canon City High School in 1933. He and Mollie were married May 4, 1940, in Raton, New Mexico. Everett was a land and cattle broker and a longtime member of Calvary Church. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2003, at Calvary Church, 5 Tulane, with Pastor Dave Asch and Rev. George White officiating. There will be no viewing. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to Gideons International or Calvary Church, through the funeral home.
