Everett E. Stastny, 78, passed away June 19, 2008. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Stastny; children Kip (Janelle) Stastny of Westminster, Colo. and Margo (Keith) Glaser of Pueblo West; grandchildren, Evan Stastny of Westminster, Colo., Tiana Stastny of Boulder, Josh (Misty) Sprague of Pueblo West and Jennifer Sprague of Pueblo West, Lindsay Glaser of Boulder; and great-grandchildren, Devin Cooper and Hayden Polk, both of Pueblo West. Preceded in death by his daughter, Brooke, in 1988. Everett was born to Louis and Alice Stastny on April 1, 1930, in Lincoln, Nebr. He retired from CSU-Pueblo as a director of purchasing. Everett was active in the community and served on many nonprofit boards. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Optimist Club of Pueblo. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, 11th and Court, with the Reverend Suzanne D'Spain officiating.   1. I am so very sorry to learn of Everett’s passing. Ev and I worked together at USC and worshiped together at 1st Presbyterian. Many times during our shared work week, I relied on his advice and support. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy to Janet and family.
