Eva Pauline Baxter, 91, born August 9, 1916, in Alva, Oklahoma, passed away August 14, 2007, at the family home in Rye. Eva married Clarence Baxter on November 4, 1933, and had 67 happy years together. Clarence preceded her in death in October 2000. To this union three children were born. She is survived by her children, Joe (Venita) Baxter, Mary (Jim) Kirkland and Helen (Dave) Wade; grandchildren, Victor (Vicki) Baxter, Guy Baxter, Amy (Phillip) Daniels, Ronda (John) Neumeister, Baxter (Brianna) Kirkland, Tracey (Greg) Abel, Missy (Destry) Lusk, Summer (Rick) Frevert and Mike Dockter; great-grandchildren, Becky Baxter, Augusta Baxter (Ryan Villarreal), Julie (John) Baxter Taft, Brandie (Bret) Sutton, Brooke (Devin) Boisvert, Chance Dockter, Loren and Logan Neumeister, Jace, Reese and Charli Kirkland, Brandon Abel, Samantha Bernal, Sean and Shayla Daniels, Quade, London, Seychelle, and Quent Lusk and Maxwell Frevert; great-great grandchildren, Mackenzie Blasing, Drennan and Emiree Sutton; loyal caregivers, Mary Gall, Julie Baxter Taft, Augusta Baxter and Chelsea Miller; sister-in-law, Imogene Baxter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Home. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Southwest Church of Christ, 1635 S. Pueblo Blvd., in Pueblo. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, in Rye.
