Eva Louise Keach, 86, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026. Daughter of Katie and Fred Meier, born October 26, 1939, in Kansas City, Kansas. Louise moved to Pueblo as a child, graduated from Centennial High School in 1957, raised two children, launched her own successful business, and dedicated her life to uplifting the Pueblo community.

For 33 years, Louise was married to Tom Keach, with whom she shared a vibrant life filled with tennis, travel, close friends, and good spirits. Together, they were dedicated supporters of numerous local organizations, including Parkview Hospital, the Pueblo Symphony, the Library District, Colorado State University (CSU and CSU-P), the Colorado Tennis Association, Zoo Pals, and SRDA. Louise was also an active member of the Junior League of Pueblo for 13 years—serving as its director in 1981, editing its newsletter, and chairing the production show for the Junior League Follies, Legs & Legacies, in 1972. She often credited the Junior League with giving her the skills and mindset to become a proven community leader.

Louise’s civic and professional footprint in Pueblo was vast. She was the co-creator of the Stamp-On, the annual kickoff to the Colorado State Fair that benefited the fair for many years, and served as past president of the Pueblo Metropolitan Museum Auxiliary from 1976 to 1977. She was a member of the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee, a director and trustee of the Pueblo Day Nursery Children’s Foundation, a past president of the Pueblo Historical Society, and a board member for Health Solutions. Furthermore, she generously supported the United Way, the American Cancer Society, PEO, the Channel 8 Auction, the Rosemount Museum, Friends of the Library, and the Pueblo Zoo. One of her greatest personal joys was meeting with a cherished group of close friends every Monday afternoon for 50 years.

Professionally, Louise was a trailblazing entrepreneur. She founded, owned, and operated Executive Services (formerly At Your Service). After 25 successful years, she sold the business, which continues to thrive today and has expanded to both the East and West coasts. In 1994, Executive Services was named Small Business of the Year. In 1984, she established and served as the CEO for the 1st Colorado International Airshow, earning the honor of Citizen of the Year from the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce that same year. Through the dedication of local business leaders and hard workers the airshow raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the community.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Peri Lou Wertz; son, Todd Wertz; daughter-in-law, Dalyn Wertz; grandchildren, Mason and Harper Wertz; stepdaughters, Cheryl (Jean) Placide, Elaine (Barb Tobias) Keach, and Brenda Keach; step-grandchildren Nathan Ross, Sean Shepard, and their families. Also, her beloved dog, Muffy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Keach; her grandson, Dustin Wertz; and her siblings, Freddie J. (Lorraine) Meier, Betty June (John) Kilgore, George W. “Bill” (Marge) Meier, and Kay (Lester) Stallion.

In accordance with her wishes, Louise will be cremated at Montgomery & Steward Crematorium, with her ashes used to nourish the growth of new trees in Pueblo and Evergreen, Colorado. Louise was a force to be reckoned with—a dedicated philanthropist whose hard work, beauty, and fierce commitment left Pueblo a far better place. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Memorial Service, will be held at 10:30 AM on November 6, 2026, at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel, 1317 North Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
