Eva F. McCarthy Krall, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2008. Eva was born March 8, 1923, in Pueblo to Esther and Sylvester Medde. She is survived by her children, Sharon Green, Glynis (Don) Goldtrap and Daniel McCarthy; sister, Louise Farmer; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ves Medde, Jr. Eva worked as the receptionist at Dr. Swanson's dental office, retiring in 1978. She was very involved in the Greeters Club and an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and crafts, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. It was Eva's relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that defined who she was. Viewing from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 W. Evans, with Pastor Randy Bolt officiating. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.
