She will be greatly missed for the love she showed us, for her humor and good advice, for her conversation, and her intelligent insight. We will miss her ability to see the beauty around us and to translate it to the lovely paintings, drawings, poems, and quilts she so generously bestowed as gifts to all of us. She will be very sadly missed by the grandchildren she loved. This world will be forever a sadder place for us without her. We rejoice that she will be joining her parents and her Lord in Heaven. 3. Lea was a wonderful person and one of the sweetest, most talented people I have ever known– She will be missed! I hope knowing she is at rest now will help the family, but knowing she is out of sight will be very hard!

  4. We are very sorry for the passing of your mother and grandmother. We know how much she was loved by the amt of love and devotion you showed as you cared for her these past 7 months. What an amazing legacy she has left. We pray that you are reassured that she is dancing with her Savior now, she is whole again, complete, and not suffering. We will be pryaing for all of you to get through these difficult days. We love you! Kip and LuAnn

  6. Kathy and Karen, my heart aches for you both. I know how much your mom meant to you all. She has left behind a little bit of herself, not only her quilting and art work but in her children that she so lovingly raised. You both have so much of her talent, kindness and wisdom that she will always be with you. You are all in my prayers and thoughts !

Keeping Your Family In Prayer…The Dooley Family (Faith UMC)

  9. I would like to offer my condolences to Mrs. McMillen’s loved ones and family. She was my English and Art teacher at Rye High School my freshman and sophomore years and I will always remember how she saw more in me than I saw in myself. I will always be grateful for all she did for me and for having the opportunity to be taught by such a creative and caring person. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

  10. We were saddened to hear of Eulalea’s death. We know she will be missed so very much. Our prayers are with her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings. This is a tough time for all of you and our hearts ache for you.

  11. Lea and Jim McMillen were our neighbors for many years here at Rye—they were the very best and this talented lady will surely be missed by all. I treasure the time they were our neighbors. Adele Clermont

  12. We attend church with Kathy and her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

  13. I did not know this lovely lady, Mrs. McMillen; but I do know her daughter Kristine Fields, and Kristine’s husband and family. I know that Kristine’s mother had to be a wonderful woman because her daughter Kris is such a tremendously sweet, kind, gentle sprit! I just felt the Lord moving me to comment on Mrs. McMillen’s gift to the world in Mrs. Kristine Fields. Mrs. McMillen appears to have been a great lady, in order to see such lovely results in her daughter Kristine. I know the world is more blessed because Mrs. McMillen gave birth to this walking testimony in Kristine Fields. And the legacy continues with Kris and Mikes precious children.
    My condolences to the family.

  14. Lea became a 2nd mother to me after my own went home too early. She was a truly teriffic person that will be missed by us all. Really wish we could be there, but Kris will be there for us.
