Euel Vernon Skelton

Euel Vernon Skelton, 95, passed away November 24, 2003, in Pueblo, Colroado. Survived by daughters, Joan (Raymond) Oelschlager of Salem, Oregon and Kodye (Rick) VanSickle of Hungry Horse, Montana; step-daughter, Barbara Barrett of Pueblo; and special niece, Katherine (Rex) Lile of Pueblo. Preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine. Euel was born July 1, 1908, in Meta, Missouri to Emmitt L. and Matilda Skelton. Euel was a street car and bus driver for the City of Pueblo, an avid fisherman, brilliant storyteller, and musician extraordinire. Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Park Hill Christian Church, 1401 E. 7th, Rev. Dr. Charlene Nimmo officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home.
