Ethel M. 'Mimi' Sigler, 85, passed away March 5, 2007. Survived by her son, John (Denise) Sigler of Boone; sister, Betty Lany of Pueblo; aunt, Stephanie Ladd of Pueblo; grandchildren, Stephanie (Christian) Parks, Jonna (John) McClure, Melissa Files and Andrew (Stephanie) Sigler; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Zach, Dominick, Morgan, Olivia, Thaddeus, Tuff and Sawyer; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Luther Sigler; daughter, Carol DeWolf; parents, Andy and Mary Takash; and brother, William Takash. Ethel was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Pueblo. She and her husband owned and operated Boone Mercantile Company. They sold their business in 1975 and retired. She was a member of the Boone Fire Department Auxiliary. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor George Casias officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Reception at Boone Fire Department immediately following the interment.   2. My thoughts and prayers are with Stephanie, Jonna, John, Denise and the entire family. During my childhood, Mimi was like my own grandmother – and she wasn’t shy about setting me straight right along with Steph! She was a wonderful lady and a big part of my childhood memories!
