Ethel Dagmar Dickson, age 101, passed away April 16, 2010, Born August 26, 1908, in Cleburne, Kan. Lately of Pueblo, formerly of Boulder, Colo. for 53 years. Married Harold Dickson and raised their family in Pueblo, Camp Hale, Colo., Canon City and Boulder, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Dickson; sons, Harold A. Dickson II and Donald A. Dickson; and granddaughter, Mary Middelkamp. Survived by her daughter, Dianne and son-in-law, Allyn Middelkamp of Pueblo; three grandchildren, Allyn (Carol) Middelkamp of Ft. Collins, Colo, Robert Middelkamp of Pueblo and Thomas (Cari) Middelkamp of Mankato, Minn.; ten great-grandchildren; Nikki (Alfonso) Garcia of Lakewood, Colo., Apryl (Nate) Maestas of Pueblo West, Bryon Middelkamp of Pueblo, Michele (Jeremy) Cosby of Pueblo West, Rebecca Middelkamp of Ft. Collins, Bob (Amanda) Middelkamp of Pueblo, Tyler Middelkamp of Denver, PV2 Cody Middelkamp of Denver, Matthew Middelkamp and Michael Middelkamp of Mankato, Minn.; four great-great granddaughters, Makylah and Myleigh Garcia, Stephanie and Amberlie Ruetter. Ethel was a dental assistant in California in the 1920s, a saleslady for Fashion Bar and Lerners in Pueblo, and a secretary in Boulder. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canon City. A special thanks to Minnequa Medicenter staff and Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the loving care Ethel received. At her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
