For 2 1/2 years, I lived and worked in Pueblo Colorado. I was finishing my college degree before joining the army in 1978. During that time I worked at Potter’s pharmacy as a clerk. It was a wonderful place to work and the people were tremendous! Especially Jim Brooks, who was one of the three pharmacists. He and his wife Erline became great friends to my wife and I. I have thought of them often over the years. Jim had served in World War II and gave me great advice on just about everything I needed to know growing up as a young man. He was almost a second father to Me in many ways. I’ll never forget him and his wife Erline.
Erline will be sadly missed! Chapter GO PEO was blessed with many years of sisterly friendship, wonderful memories & lots of laughter!! Enjoy a well deserved rest, my friend! 🙏🏻
I was so blessed to know this beautiful lady. We shared many memories.
When she lived in Ordway we were close neighbors. Her daughters were friends and Jim delivered our mail. During the Vietnam war a lot of my friends were notified they were getting drafted. She was so caring!
