Emma L. Giltner on Sunday, May 9, 2010 our Mom has gone to dance with her sweetheart and husband of 52 years, Norbert D. Giltner, who preceded her in death in 2004. Emma was born October 9, 1932 in Spring Canyon, UT. Emma is also preceded in death by sisters Mae Louisa, Katie (Richard) Marshall, Martha (Ray) Warne, brother-in-laws Robert B. 'Bob' Evans, Joseph A. Siegel, parents Valentine and Rhoda Udovich, in-laws Hugh and Margaret Giltner, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and two nephews. Emma is survived by her children Norbert Jr. 'Gil' (Adrienne), Mae (Butch) Nezvensky, Jim (Audrey), Mike (Cherie), Robert (Tammy), Larry (Annette) Giltner and Mary (Brian) Davis. Special connected children and their families Linda (Mike) Murphy, Lorri Kemp, Leah (Steve) Pow, Bret (Sheree) Evans and Bart (Joyce) Evans. Siblings Mitzi Evans, Josie (Willie) Kesner, Helen Siegel and Val (Paula) Udovich. Sister-In-law Deloris M. Giltner, brother-in-laws Hezzy (Mary Ellen) Giltner, Elmer (MaryLou) Giltner, Blasé (Betty) Giltner and Jon (Eileen) Giltner. Emma is also survived by 23 grandchildren: Butch (Deanna), Leah (Brad), Heather, Kristine (Todd), Amanda (Mose), Karen (John), Raine (Jess), Courtney (Jermaine), Bridget (Justin), Crystin (Craig), Michael, Norbert III (Amanda), John, Ronnie, Sage, Allegra, Quinn, Lauren, Buddy, Ashley, Brian, Zachary and Emilee; 19 great-grandchildren: Kaitlen, Alexzandra, John Patrick, Joshua, Sarah, Hayley, Timmy, Kinsey, Leandra, Mikey, Ty, Bryce, Faith, Lexy, JJ, Elise, Kennedy, Landon and Luke; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. Emma attended Central High School and was proud to be a rural letter carrier where she retired from after 26 years of service. Emma loved to listen to polka music, spend time with her entire family making potica and divinity or just having a family dinner for everyone. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Ladies Auxiliary Council #9456, SNPJ Lodge #577 and Monday Madness Bowling League. Special thanks to Frontier Hospice staff members. Viewing May 13, 2010, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary Recitation 3:30 p.m. with mass to follow at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Joseph Parish with celebrant Fr. William Huber. Interment immediately following at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive guests immediately following the interment at the parish hall. The family respectfully requests the omission of flowers and food and would like donations to be made in Emma's memory to the St. Joseph Parish Building Fund, c/o 1145 S. Aspen Road, Pueblo, CO 81006.
