  1. To: Ev Rhoades, Shirley, Jim, & Linda, nieces and nephews:
    Please accept my condolences.
I am very sorry about my dear and sweet Elsie (my roomate). Elsie was a very close friend. I miss her very much, she was a lot of wonderful company. Just knowing she was there, looking out for me, and me for her- She was a blessing. I will hold her in my heart forever-

    God Bless all of you-
    Sincerely,
    Jennie Cordova

  2. I just wanted the family to know how much of a honor it was to have known Elsie. My parents were her and Don’s neighbors on Beulah Ave and I pretty much grew up knowing how special Elsie was and the kindness she showed to our family. She was meticulous with her lawn and flower bed as well as their classic car but I think what I’ll remember most is that she treated me like her own. She will truly be missed and forever hold a special place in my heart!
