Elsie Rose Medina

Elsie Rose Medina, 81, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Medina; parents, Joe and Solamae Gonzalez; sisters, Carmel (Ted) Jacquez and Terri (Mose) Espinoza; nieces, Carol Jaramillo and June Ann Sierra; nephew, Ronnie Garcia; and son-in-law, Arnold Martinez. She is survived by her children, Joyce Maez, Diane Martinez, Larry Medina, David (Marie) Medina, Danny (Virginia) Medina and Steve (Reetha) Medina; only surviving sister, Esther (Edward) Garcia. Also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. At a young age, Elsie worked in Ogden, Utah, at a military base, she also worked at Chuck's Lunch, making lunch for the CF&I workers for 18 years. Elsie most of all loved God and her family, who always came first, before her own needs, in her life. She will forever be missed by her family who will always honor her memory.
