Elma M. Cordova, 96, passed away April 20, 2018. Survived by daughters, Anna Marie Griego, Bertha (Gilbert) Pacheco, Noreen (Louis) Cordova, Amelia (Pete) Gomez and Cindy (Paul) Chapman; and numerous grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Cordova; and son, Roger Cordova. Elma was born in Costilla, N.M. and enjoyed Bingo. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand. Interment, 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery. I am so sorry for your loss! It was a privilege to work with Elma at InnovAge. She was a one of a kind woman and could make everybody laugh no matter the day. I could still hear her tell some of her stories of how she didn’t like oatmeal because she was forced to eat it everyday when she was younger. Or how her and her sister stole their parents wine while they were out and got drunk. Or the various comments the nuns made about her painting in school! Countless memories flood my mind when I think of cute little grandma Elma. Again thank you for allowing us to know Elma for as long as we did!
