Elizabeth M. Bigley, 83, of LaCrosse, Wis., died Thursday November 22, 2007, at the Villa Pueblo, in Pueblo, Colo. She was born March 19, 1924, in McCook, Nebraska, to Glen and Gladys (Snyder) Rasmusson. She married Patrick J. Bigley on July 8, 1967, in LaCrosse. Elizabeth worked for 25 years at the St. Francis Hospital in LaCrosse in the dietary department. Survivors are her sister, Muriel Amundson; half brothers, James and Robert Rasmusson, all from Wisconsin; niece, Susan (John) Atkins; great nephew, Stephen Atkins; and great niece, Julie Atkins, all from Illinois. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick; father and mother, Glen and Gladys Rasmusson; brother-in-law, Donald Amundson; and mother- and father-in-law, George and Edna Bigley. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, in the Meditation Room, Pavilion at Villa Pueblo, 855 Hunter Dr., with Msgr. Tom Adrians, V.G. officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m.Saturday, November 8, 2007, at the Catholic Cemetery in LaCrosse, Wis. Service will be performed by Father Michael Bigley.   1. Elizabeth and my mother, Catherine Petrowski, were friends at Solberg Heights in La Crosse for many years. Elizabeth even came with my mother once to visit me when I lived in southern California. She was a good friend to my mother. I am very sorry for your loss.
