Elizabeth 'Betty' Vitale, 84, passed away June 23, 2014. Survived by her children, JoKay (Rod) Cozzetto, Patty, Paul and Phil Vitale; grandchildren, Nicki (Drew) Golob, Jason (Pam) Cozzetto, Adam (Grace) Cozzetto, Charlie Vitale, Crystal Cantu, Jessica (Scott) Edwards, Jennifer (David) Vitale and Jordan Vitale; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol McConnell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Paskey Vitale; parents, Sam and Katie Parlapiano; and siblings, Dolly Sarro and Carlo Parlapiano. Betty was born to Sam and Katie Parlapiano on July 11, 1929, in Pueblo. She was a homemaker until her 70's when she began her 'new' career of doing food demos at local grocery stores. Betty enjoyed her bowling leagues and tournaments and spending time with her lady friends, but her life revolved around her family. She was a fabulous cook and baker and she enjoyed caring, cooking and feeding her large family. Betty's family always came first, whom she loved unconditionally. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 1 p.m. Friday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Bobby Aragon officiating. Special thank you to Dr. Deb Urioste and the entire staff at Life Care Center for their compassion and loving care of our mother.
