***** Eleanor L. Scales accepted the escort of the 'angels on her pillow' May 29, 2009. Born to John H. And Mildred G. Linn June 28, 1925. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William G. Scales; brother, Robert G. Linn; and sister-in-law, Nell Linn. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, William E. Scales, (Chanda Ellis) and Lora (Gerald) Ure; grandchildren, Rebecca (Martin) Earhart, Jennie (Michael) Di Grado, Aaron (Kristi) Ure and Eric Ure; and great-grandchildren, Cassidie DiGrado, Kaylea Ure (who shares Eleanor's birthday) and James Earhart. Also survived by her sister, Jeanette; brother-in-law, Allen Spencer; and nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a dignified, elegant and compassionate soul whose gentleness and kindness graced so many lives. She was always gracious and taught her granddaughters the fine art of accessorizing. She was a true 'Linn' lady. A most special thank you to the 'E-team,' Sylvia, Terry , Lorraine, Jessica and Arely, who gave her such loving care and allowed her to stay in her home. Also, thanks to Hospice, Parkview Homecare, and the staff at Parkview Medical Center. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A celebration of her life and ice cream social will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 University Cir. Interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Sangre de Cristo Hospice, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.
