Elden “Bud” Neldner, 97, passed away on May 2, 2021. He is survived by sons, Bruce (Leslie) Neldner, Pueblo and Paul (Polly) Neldner, La Veta; daughter, Barbara (Gregg) Burnett, Cedaredge; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Neldner; his parents, Herbert and Anna Neldner; and brother, Dr. Kenneth Neldner. Born December 14, 1923, in Lewiston, Minn., where he graduated high school. He moved from Lewiston, Minn. to Hamilton, Mont. in 1950. He married Donna Varner on October 10, 1954, and moved to La Veta, Colo. in 1966. They enjoyed 66 happy years together. During his life, Bud was a farmer, rancher, worked for the U.S. Forest Service, operated a sawmill and was a general contractor building homes. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 145 S. Abarr Dr., Pueblo West. Interment, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at La Veta, Colo. Cemetery.
