Elda Marie Brunkhorst, 90, passed away at home on July 19, 2014. Survived by daughters, Deborah (Jerry) Hall and Frances (Tim) Abrahamsen of Pueblo West; son Martin Brunkhorst of Pueblo; granddaughter, Emily Abrahamsen of Boulder, Colo; and sister, Rhonda Brocksmith of Missouri. Elda was born on June 16, 1924, to Charles and Ruth Polette who precede her in death; along with two brothers; five sisters; and one granddaughter, Dawn (Brunkhorst) Meadows. Elda was a professional seamstress for many years. She enjoyed playing the organ and tending her beautiful flower gardens and canning vegetables in the fall. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel.
