Edwina DeVore Wattles

Edwina D. Wattles, 85, passed away March 9, 2000. Survived by her daughter, Marjorie (Lester) Giltner of Pueblo; sister, Etta R. DeVore of Pueblo; brother, Robert W. (Neva) DeVore of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Steve (Debora) Giltner of Pueblo, Kenneth Giltner of Pueblo, Lynnette (Kelly) Maury of Denver, Cindy Lepik and Kenneth Lepik, both of Colorado Springs; great-grandchildren, Kaylinn, Steve, Ashley and Sheryl; numerous nieces and nephews and her special kitty, 'Katie.' Preceded in death by her husband, James C. Wattles in April 1987; daughter, Nancy Jo Lepik; parents, Albert P. and Mary Josephine (neé Pugh) DeVore; grandchildren, Shawna Lee Lepik and Robert Jon Lepik; and siblings, Dorothy, Emily, Albert and Gordon. Edwina was born January 29, 1915, and was a lifetime resident of Pueblo. She was a member of Broadway Christian Church, Pueblo Chapter No. 7 O.E.S., Rainbow Girls Chapter No. 7, and she also worked with the Girl Scouts for many years. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Reverend Hal Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to gather at 2541 Hollywood Dr. after the interment to fellowship and reminisce. Memorials may be made to Broadway Christian Church through the funeral home.
