Edward John 'Roy' Kochevar, 93, passed away December 12, 2007, following a massive stroke. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Katherine (Mikatich) Kochevar; daughters, Kathleen and Judy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Frances Miller. Edward was the youngest of seven children born to Frank and Mary (Novak) Kochevar. He graduated in 1933 from Central High School. A veteran of World War II, Edward was attached to the Army Air Force, serving in England. He retired in 1976 from the CF&I Seamless Tube Mill. He enjoyed golf and was especially proud of his hole-in-one. His other interests included dancing, woodworking, walking, traveling, and visiting with family and friends. He was a lifelong member of KSKJ St. Joseph's Lodge. Cremation and no service at Edward's request. Memorials made be made to Sange de Cristo Hospice. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com

  1. Dear Kay and family: I’ve just learned about Roy’s passing. My sincere condolences to all of you. We so enjoyed visiting with you when in Pueblo. I hope to drop in for a few minutes during my future visits. May God bestow his blessings and comfort upon all of you.
