Edward Eugene 'Gene' Pike, 69, passed away November 8, 2004. Survived by his wife, Rosalee Pike; children, Turene (Gene) Lombard, Rodney (Rita) Pike, Laurene Trujillo, Kimberly Pike, Donnie (Dannette) Pike and Kirk (Shannon) Pike; brothers, Ronald (Karen) Pike and Richard Pike; mother-in-law, Mabel Garcia; aunt, Joretta (Bill) Sorenson, all of Pueblo; and seventeen grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Lisle O. And Hildred Pike; brother, Jerry Pike; and grandson, Rodd Pike. Born September 11, 1935 in Pueblo, Gene was a 1954 graduate of Centennial High School. He retired from the C.F. & I. as foreman of the tube mill and was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church. He will lie in state at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Calvary Church, 5 Tulane, Pueblo, with Pastor David Asch officiating. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
