Eduardo 'Lalo' G. Jiron, 89, passed away Aug. 4, 2009. Survived by brother, Belarmino 'Billy' (Dorothy) Jiron of Littleton; sisters, Eloisa Lujan, Irene (Ernest) Salazar, Evila (Pete) Montoya and Rose DeHerrera, all of Pueblo; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece and caregiver, Bernadette Lujan of Pueblo. Preceded in death by his wife, Eloisa; parents, Jacobo and Hijinia Jiron; siblings, Procopio Jiron, Cristina 'Tina' Perea, Toby Jiron, Nina DeHerrera and Ben Jiron. Eduardo was born July 1, 1920, in Lobatos, Colo. He worked at the CF & I in the 10-inch Mill and was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church. Rosary, 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, and funeral Mass, 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, both at St. Frances Xavier, 611 Logan Ave., with the Reverend Father Uju Okeahialam, CSSp as celebrant.
