Edmond F. 'Sonny' Pfalmer, Jr., 83, went to his final resting place on January 7, 2009. Sonny fought a lengthy illness over the last 8 years, and was able to spend his last days at home comforted by family and friends. He was loved deeply by his family and will be sadly missed. Survived by his wife, of 63 years, Shirley G. Pfalmer; children, Edmond (Kim)Pfalmer, Janice (Kyle) Clark, Joan (John) Pfalmer, Nancy (Bill) Reorda and Barb (Brannon Tolman); grandchildren, Josh Clark, Gino(Angela) Begano, Brian Begano, Aimee (Nick) Prigmore, Kaylee Reorda, Paige Reorda, and Taylor Tolman; seven great-grandchildren; sister Jackie Johnson, and special friends, George and Cheryl Varga, Joe Gagliano, John Barker, Don Zakrasic, Del and Barb Padilla, Al and Margaret Chenowith, Harry Sayre, Ray and Harriet Cox, and Pam Isley. Preceded in death by his son, Gerald, and sister Jeanne Davis. Sonny was born to Edmond and Lavinia Pfalmer on Sept. 25, 1925, in Trinidad, Colo. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from C.F.&I. as a chief clerk. Sonny was a man of great humor and a loving heart. He loved spending time with his family and taking care of his 'little sweetheart', Taylor. Sonny was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed his trips to Cripple Creek. He was a Member of B.P.O. Elks of Trinidad. Special thanks to Fresenius Dialysis Center and Sangre de Cristo Hospice. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend Waudell Maple officiating.     I am so sorry to hear about your dad and loving husband. Mr. Pfalmer was a great man. He never called me by my whole name it was always “Reg”. I will remember that.
    I will keep you all in my prayers, especially you Barb. I know how hard it is. My mom also sends her condolences to you Mrs. Pfalmer and your family. Sorry I won’t be able to make it today, but just remember your dad will always be around.
