Dorothy Helen McKillop

Dorothy Helen McKillop, 102, passed away Feb. 7, 2013. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Anne (Muryl) Laman; daughter-in-law, Betsy McKillop; grandchildren, Susan Laman, Amy (Stacy) Carda, Steven Laman, Kristin (Edward) Feitzinger, Kathleen (Richard) Whitt, Matthew (Janet) McKillop; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Oliver McKillop in 1969, and son, Donald McKillop in 1997. She was born June 27, 1910, to Harry and Mary Coverly in Kansas City, Kan. Dorothy started the Chapter of National Secretaries Association in Kansas City, Kan. She was a member of Soroptimist International and Assistant Vice President of the Trust Department of Johnson County National Bank and Trust of Prairie Village, Kan. In August 2007, she left her friends and associates in Johnson County, Kan., and moved to Villa Pueblo Retirement Center in Pueblo, Colo. Services to be announced at a later date.
