Dorothy G. Rupp, 93, passed away May 18, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Julie (Frank) Nemick and Mary Lee (Larry) Ervin, both of Pueblo; siblings, Janet Giannone and Ted (Evelyn) Neuburger; grandchildren, Frank P. (Tina Lisa) Nemick III, Laura (Chris) Brown, William J. (Brenda) Nemick, Jeanette (Scott) Baysinger, Eric (Belinda) Ervin, Kirk (Suzanne) Ervin and Craig (Laurie) Ervin; 18 great-grandchildren, Alan, Alex, Josh, Greg, Kae Leigh, Devin, Kayla, Austin, Melinda, Gage, Cassidy, Madison, Shawn, Sydney, Abbey, Trevor, Ethan and Evelyn; and four great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, William J. Rupp on Nov. 3, 2006; parents, Wenzel and Julia Neuburger; sister, Marie Helget; and brothers, Joseph, Edward, Norbert, Arthur, Arnold, Ernest and Richard Neuburger. Dorothy was born Nov. 3, 1916, in St. Paul, Minn., growing up on the plains of Kansas. She loved her family dearly. She had a great laugh and smiling eyes that lit up the world! Dorothy enjoyed card games, crafts and was an excellent seamstress, making many memorable gifts for friends and family. Special thank you to Dr. Kulik and staff, the staff at Parkview Medical Center and Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the care they gave Dorothy. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Mass, 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at Christ The King Church, 1708 Horseshoe Dr., with Msgr. Tom Adrians, VG as celebrant. Also a memorial gathering will be held for her loving friends and extended family at the Villa Towers at a later date.
