Dorothy Dots' Ricci

Dorothy 'Dots' Ricci passed away in Colorado Springs, with her family at her side, on Friday, July 22, 2016. Dots was born in Pueblo on March 25, 1929. Preceded in death 31 years ago by her loving husband, Joe 'Chink' Ricci; parents, Frank and Johanna Kovacich; sisters, Millie Kovacich, Sophie Swartz and Jennie 'Babs' Thomason; and brothers, Joe Kovacich and Ed 'Drake' Kovacich. Survived by sons, Joseph (Sandi) Ricci Jr., and Randy (Mary) Ricci; grandson, Christopher Ricci; step-grandson, Gary Hoffman and his children, Sebastian, Megan and Kyra; sister-in-law, Velma Kovacich; and numerous nieces and nephews. A lifetime resident of 'Bojon Town,' Dots was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family. She was a homemaker who loved cooking Thanksgiving dinner and baking her many desserts for the Christmas holidays.
