Dorothea Nell High Trask, 89. Born in Wirt, Okla. on June 6, 1926, passed peacefully to the Lord's embrace on Jan. 9, 2016, in Denver, Colo. Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Elwood Trask; and son, James Leslie Trask of Pueblo, Colo; and brother, James Earl High of Parker, Ariz. Survived by son, Emory Eugene (Donna) Trask of Pueblo, Colo.; daughter, Donna (Robert) Dowell of Springfield, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Ann (Les) Trask of Pueblo, Colo.; son, Timothy (Karen) Trask of St. David, Ariz.; daughter, Nellie Trask of Arvada, Colo.; son, Ronald (Gini) Trask of Centennial, Colo.; daughter, Nancy (Tim) Thomas of Falcon, Colo.; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Dorothea grew up in Wetmore, Colo. and resided in Pueblo area most of her life. Towards the end of WWII, she worked at the commissary at Camp Hale in Leadville, Colo. and then at the CF&I. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Bells Fort Mountain Man Club. Dorothea was a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to her seven children. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
