Doris Elaine Bonner, 78, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away April 4, 2007. Survived by her husband, John Bonner; children, Roy (Joan) Bonner of Washington, Okla. and Robert (Nancy) Bonner Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Betty Ann (Lee) Petty of Florence, Colo.; sister-in-law, Nellie Mae Garcia of Bryan, Texas; grandchildren, Judi Zupancic, Le Sher Armijo, Kendace Bonner, Sharon (Greg) Eades, Carla Bonner, Mark (Amy) Brooks and Mary (Jorge) Brooks; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Rhodes Herauf on March 12, 2007. Doris was born to Donald and Maude Kelsay on March 30, 1929, in Pueblo. Doris and John were married July 31, 1946, in Pueblo. She loved sewing, crocheting, gardening and sitting on her patio. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life! Member of Eagles Aerie 145 Auxiliary and B.P.O. Elks No. 90 Auxiliary. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend James Montera officiating.
